The area has long been a golfer’s, paradise.  The large array of golf courses include some of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the state, Even better – nearly every day is golfing weather.

    Venice Harbour   

Local Residents spend a lot of their recreational time enjoying water

 related activities or just soaking up the sun at one of the several public beaches  but the area offers other outdoor charms.  Fishing is superb, Tarpon, Mullet, Snook and Pomano are reeled in off the Venice Fishing Pier  which runs 720 feet into the Gulf of Mexico.

       Manasota Beach

Windsurfers, boaters and jet skiers all find excellent conditions and snorkellers and scuba divers unearth Sand Dollars, Conch shells and prehistoric sharks teeth from the sands below Manasota Beach, with lifeguard.  Picnic and  parking areas provide safe family fun just 15 minutes walk  from the villa.

If boating interests you, charter boat captains can take you to the deep sea or  you can be your own captain by renting a vessel and navigating the 20 miles of inter coastal waterways.
